Operation?!?!?!

Today's topic shall be about operation. Well, just by telling your friends that you're going for an operation, their reaction would be, " you mad, bro?" Haha.

But for me, i just went for one. An operation that would change my future. i wont reveal what is it called but i'll just share my experience here. ;) I had my operation 3 days ago on the 18th. so it went like this:

On the 17th, the operating theatre staff called me and told me to be at the day surgery clinic by 7:30am in the morning, 7:30!!!!! That's a little too early for me on the holidays. Hah Okay never mind that. So on the 18th morning, i dragged myself off my bed and prepared to go to the hospital with my parents. The sky was pretty bright and being my first time off for an operation, who wouldnt be scared?! I didnt feel anything at first. i reached the clinic on time and waited for my queue number. There were quite a number of other people going for a day surgery too. My name was called and we did all the admin matters. Then moving on to the ward.

I was told about little things and had to change into the "operating gown" which i wore it for the whole day, even until my operation ended. So I changed and waited.... Then they told me the operation timing was about 10:25. Hours passed and i was still sitting there until 10:15 when my mum was a little frustrated. Well, of course i was too. Without breakfast or anything to drink, not even plain water, who wouldnt? :P

So she went to ask and as soon as she asked, the OT staff came to fetch me. Mum had to leave me because she couldnt follow me in, so she went to the visitors lounge and wait. i went in the reception area and waited for another hour. :O Gosh. a number of nurse and doctors came to ask me questions but they repeated it over and over again.. I was so bored. While waiting on the wheel chair, i came across a few babies that were just born. Ohhh soo cute. :D

There was this nurse, named susan. I like her. Her voice was very cute and she was super friendly. So she kept telling me to wait and told me it was my turn soon. DANG DANG. Thats when i got a little scared. Imagine yourself going into the OT!! Then there were two anaesthetic doctors who came by, checked me and told me to wait because they were cleaning the OT. The last one told me, "awhile more okay?" I was like..... OMG, freaking out already.Teehee! An hour passed and then i was the only one left there AGAIN. :@ Feeling tired, i kept yawning. Then three nurse came by and they told me it was my turn. OMO. SCARY!!! They pushed me down the aisle and i went to the last row, last OT.

Upon entering, thats when i feel super scared. The whole room was super white and the large lights are all just there! EEK! Nevertheless, I just went in, remain on the wheelchair and followed what the told me to do. It was pretty cold throughout even until i entered the OT. But when I laid down on the bed..... Ahhhhh the bed was super warm!!!! Hehehe >.<

They gave me injections and allowed me to breathe in the drug where they put me to sleep temporary. While breathing in, my body felt numb and then a little pain and ZZZZZZZ. I was soon fast "asleep".
